"Robbie," she pleased, aghast at his reaction, "please understand.  I had to come.  Not because I think it's some kind of adventure, or for . . . personal reasons.  I'm here so I can make a difference.  Just like you promised I would."  With that, anger seemed to drain out of him, and he stepped back, his arms falling to his sides.  She felt transfixed by the naked anguish in his eyes, bluer than any remembered July sky.

My Teaser: This week's teaser comes from A Wish After Midnight.  I chose this book for one of my challenges.  I always planned for it to be my next book but something always came up and I chose a different.  I'm so glad to finally have picked this one up.

My Teaser: This teaser might be longer than my usual but it is worth it...I think.  I had to giggle.  I was honestly so mad on Dyer's behalf.

Teaser Tuesday: The Love Goddess' Cooking School

My Teaser:  Today's teaser comes from The Love Goddess by Melissa Senate.  I bought the book on whim after reading a review by a fellow book blogger, but when it came in the mail, I couldn't remember what made me make such a spontaneous decision.  So I put it on my shelf.  Fast forward a couple of months and I haven't, for the life of me, been able to get into any book I pick up and I know deep down it is me and not the books.  So I pick this one up from the shelf and settled in for a therapeutic read.  This is just what I needed.
