My First Book Signing... Marissa Meyer
I know. It shouldn't be that I've reached the tired old age of 28 and have never gone to a book signing. But now I have. And it was WONDERFUL!!
P.S. My videos are awful but I still wanted to share. Next time I'll turn my phone, I promise.
On how she began to write...
On her fascination with fairy tales...

Awesome awesome awesomeeee! I've only been to a few myself.
ReplyDeleteHence I still feel like a book signing newbie.
DeleteI'm addicted now. I'm on the look out.
DeleteThe only book I remember getting signed was when I was in the second grade and an author came to my elementary school. So yes that means I'm brimming with jealousy over here!
ReplyDeleteLooks like you had an awesome time. Can't wait to hear what you think of the Cinder sequel.
I haven't touched it yet. It's kind of untouchable. I'm still in awe that there is a signature in it.
DeleteOOh nice! You went to a good signing! They had cupcakes! With the few that I have been to, there's never been a treat like that!
ReplyDeleteSo nice when one come to you! I'm usually trying to convince my mom--in the past and maybe just a few years ago!--to take my to Chicago as that was always the closest place that had a signing!
Looks like you had an awesome time!
Yep, there were cupcakes! I actually found out about it on Facebook. Facebook is good for something I guess.
DeleteI always enjoy book signings. Thanks for sharing your experience.

DeleteHow awesome that you got to go to a book signing! We don't get any of the authors I like out my way so I've never been to one. I'm always so envious when I see the posts about them though. Lol.
ReplyDeleteThis was my first so you are not alone. I'm looking for more because it is kind of addicting.
DeleteThis is so great! I am very jealous :D I haven't made it to a signing yet, but this one would be one I wouldn't want to miss.
ReplyDeleteAlso, you may not have gotten an email I sent over with questions for our swap. Let me know :) Jaclyn @ JC's Book Haven
Book blogging has pushed me to seek out things like this. I've been missing out.
DeleteI saw her here in Dallas (pictures on Wednesday) and you were right. She is so delightful :)
ReplyDeleteOh I need to go look.
DeleteAwww that looks like so much fun! I've only been to two book signings myself, we need to go to more!

DeleteBook signings are so much fun! I've been to two.
ReplyDeleteIt was so exciting.
DeleteAre you serious? This was your first!? No way! Good first one. I love that she had a full set up in the back. Most of the ones I go to just have the table and a poster of the book.
ReplyDeleteI'm going to my first one in March. So super excited. I'm glad to see you had a great time!
