Things are very very strange over here at Reflections of a Bookaholic. It's one of those things where I have blog posts but I don't want to post them because I'll get further and further behind with things that come with new posts... like comment replies and such. I'm just going to pause things till I can catch up and feel good about a being a blogger and friend again. Maybe tomorrow...or the next day...or the day after that.
I've got to get back on track!
(((((( hugs )))))) I am taking a couple of weeks off too :) I think it helps to get some "me" time in there!
ReplyDeleteI need to but I can't shake the guilt.
DeleteI got that way during the holidays this year ... I couldn't find the time or energy to put too much into my blog, so I just didn't do a thing until after New Years. Take all the time you need!
ReplyDeleteThat's a good idea.
DeleteOh no. I'll miss you. But I totally understand.
ReplyDeleteSometimes when I need to catch up, I will only post once a week. This helps me keep it going while at a pace I can keep up with. I'm like a little train, sometimes I speed up and sometimes I slow down.
Good luck sugar. Sending you good vibes and hugs. :)
Thanks! I feel like I've been running behind all year. Never a good feeling :(
DeleteAlexis, I totally understand!! The holidays have had me running around so much, I haven't had as much time to blog, and I've gotten really behind!!! Take it easy :)
ReplyDeleteI just feel so guilty. I hate that I take things so seriously.
Delete(hugs) You take your time!
ReplyDeleteholidays are a crazy time as it is! you just do your thing and relax : D
You are right! Thanks!
DeleteHugs!
ReplyDeleteI appreciate it.
DeleteAw real life interferes way too often for all of us. Don't feel bad about it. Hope all is relaxed soon!
ReplyDeleteMe too :)
DeleteAnd so we'll be right here waiting for you, dearie. Love, Belle
ReplyDeleteTake your time Alexis...your readers will be here. And I totally get what you're saying. I feel like I'm so behind on everything as well. I'm hoping to get done what I can for the year and getting a fresh start in the new year.
ReplyDeleteI'm thinking to do the same thing. Some things I just might have to let go.
DeleteNo worry, I had to take a nearly two month break from blogging and reading myself. It shouldn't be forced and you should come back to it when you feel good about it. Hope to see you back soon (:
ReplyDeleteI don't want it to feel forced. I don't want to get in another funk.
DeleteI hope you get caught up on all your things! :-)
ReplyDeleteI'm working on it.
DeleteGirl I did the same and you will feel better after you take a step back. We will all be here when you get back. ~HUGS~
ReplyDeleteI'm hoping so. I hope I can catch up behind the scenes as well.
DeleteThe holidays can get really hectic! It always helps to recharge the batteries for a few weeks. :)I hope everything evens out for you soon!
ReplyDeleteThanks! I'm working on it.
