Description:
She was one of the most sought-after women in the world. A top model who would stop at nothing to get what she wanted -even another woman's man. And now she's dead, the victim of a brutal murder.

Police lieutenant Eve Dallas puts her life on the line to take the case when suspicion falls on her best friend, the other woman in the fatal love triangle. Beneath the facade of glamor, Eve finds that the world of high fashion thrives on an all-consuming obsession with youth and fame-one that leads her from the lights of the runway to the dark underworld of New York City, where drugs can fulfill any desire, for a price.

Quote:
“What other thing, Eve?"
"I love you. Sometimes it makes my stomach hurt, but I kind of like it. Tired now, come to bed. Love you.”
~Eve to Roarke

My Rating & Review:
Another fantastic addition to this series. This mystery had me stumped from the beginning.  It drove me crazy that I couldn't get the pieces together.  Eve had her moments, but this particular installment was great because of the secondary characters.  The dynamic between the characters and the different personalities made this mystery/thriller quite fun.  I'm finding myself so attached and it excites me because this series has so many more installments to go.  I was so engrossed from beginning to end.  I blinked and the book was over.  These are such quick reads.  They are impossible to put down.  I can't wait for the next one.

  2. Thanks for the comments on The Things You Can Read! I appreciate feedback. Congrats on finishing the Dystopian Challenge. I posted a review of Hunger Games back in the summer, but it was more than a review. I discussed this whole idea of a new development of a sub-genre.
