Why I Love...Eye-Catching Covers
I really wanted to sqeeeee this week when I saw the topic because I'm so excited to see everyone else's covers. Honestly, this should be fun. Grab the button and put a picture of your favorite cover. Pretty covers are always fun to look at. We are back to the linky!!
So I picked two covers because covers change, you know. And there are quite a few beautiful ones. I picked my favorite from last year and a favorite from this year.
It's just so pretty!!
I love how it is simple but eye catching. I have no real idea what is going on but I definitely want to know more. I mean...her face is red.
I like different covers for different reasons. Some I like because they are pretty but others I really like because they are unique, or interesting, or memorable.
Which Book Covers do you love? Oh please share!! I want to see :) Feel free to create your own post and link up. Don't want to create an entire post? Tell me your favorites in the comments. Thanks for stopping by for another week of Why I Love Wednesdays!!
If you want to play along, feel free to grab the image (there is a button on the right sidebar now) and link your post in the linky. Here goes.

That first cover is gorgeous and the second is striking. It will definitely make you stop to take a closer look.
ReplyDeleteCovers catch my attention for different reasons. Some because they are pretty and some because they make me interesting.
DeleteI love book covers too. I'm crazy about them. I wish I could add something today! But I have a review to post. Maybe next Wed! YA book covers I love are the Luxe series. The Selection is a great cover. So is Born Wicked. Goddess Girls have awesome MG covers. My fave in lit fiction is The Bird Sisters paperback cover. I like a lot of the WWII fiction book covers. So many! It's hard to choose :)
ReplyDeleteI've seen the covers of the Luxe series but I don't think I've seen the others.
DeleteI love book covers, too! I have a huge obsession with them. :) I agree with Jade; love the first cover, and the second if very striking. In fact, when I first saw it when it was released, it had me so curious to find out more about the book.
ReplyDeleteI picked the second one for audio without reading the description based on the cover and I never do that.
DeleteI agree. I love this cover of The Girl Who Chased the Moon.
ReplyDeleteIt is one of the prettiest covers without being similar to all the others.
DeleteI have to many book cover loves to even mention. Love the two you selected. They are so well done I wish they all were this good. :)
ReplyDeleteI really don't. That's why I wanted to see everyone's favorites. I'm kind of picky.
DeleteBoth of theses covers are captivating.
ReplyDeleteI added both books to my TBR list on Goodread. They sound AH-MAZING! :-)
Oooh Yay! That's an added bonus.
DeleteNice post! I love simple covers too, actually. I don't like them too busy.
ReplyDeleteOne of the reasons why I was never drawn to the chemical garden books was that I always found the covars too busy and they put me off*
Covers that are too busy don't catch my fancy either.
DeleteOoo...I haven't read either of these and they look interesting. Great post! Here's mine:

DeleteI love covers too!
ReplyDeleteI can't tell you how many books I have bought based on covers alone :) I call it the cover whore syndrome LOL
Lol I love that! I might have to steal that. It really deserves a name.
