Dewey's Read-a-Thon: Hours 1-6

MOST RECENT UPDATES CAN BE FOUND HERE :)

Here we go!  I don't want to flood your readers, so updates for the first six hours will be found here.  Whoot! Whoot!  Let's Get it.

If you are part of the readathon and drop by, please leave a comment so I can return the visit and cheer you on. I also want to shout out my Mom, she's participating today.  You can find her here.

Hour 6:  Okay it is seriously time to bring out the snacks!  I'm a reading but not as much online because it was seriously counter-productive.  I'll be back soon!!  Getting snacks :)

Hour 4 & 5: I'm here!! And finally starting to wake up.  Skipping the mini-challenge and getting straight to reading.

Happy Reading!!

Hour 3: I probably did about 10 minutes of reading last hour.  Yep.  You can give me the side-eye.  But I've got my tea and I'm extra motivated.  And this update is going up in less than 20 minutes.  I'm getting better!! Whoot!

Book Puzzle Mini-Challenge:  Here's my uncreative/bad puzzle.  I can only say I tried.

I'm not sure if I'm supposed to tell the answer to this puzzle, but here's a hint: It's the title to do the book I'm reading :)

Happy Reading!

Hour 2: Still Reading The Demon Trapper's Daughter.  It's kind of sad right now, which I was so not expecting.  Off to grab some tea...

Character Photo-Mini Challenge.

I'm just getting know Riley from The Demon Trapper's Daughter but right now she's alone and sad.  I think this picture fits.  Ahhh... poor Riley.
If you participated in the mini-challenge let me know.  I'll be sure to visit.  I'm sure your picture is more fun than mine :)

Hour 1: I'm currently reading The Demon Trapper's Daughter by Jana Oliver.

I'm going to get started a bit before I get up and making coffee/eating breakfast so no  updates on that front.

Dewey's Introductory Meme:
1)Where are you reading from today?
 2)Three random facts about me…
3)How many books do you have in your TBR pile for the next 24 hours?
4)Do you have any goals for the read-a-thon (i.e. number of books, number of pages, number of hours, or number of comments on blogs)?
5)If you’re a veteran read-a-thoner, any advice for people doing this for the first time?

My Answers:
1.  Austin, Texas
2.   I'm not a morning person; I'm a law student; I LOVE ice cream :)
3.  I have 7, but hope to get to 4
4.  I hope to stay awake for 24 hours reading!  Eeek!  It sounds so simple but... you know... it didn't work out last time.
5.  Read!!  Oh and stay away from distracting people.  If a book isn't working for you, switch.  This is not the day to push through.
