Friday Memes: Survival & Favorite Posts

Follow Friday Question of the Week:

What are you doing to prepare for an upcoming zombie apocalypse and/or the return of Mel Gibson to the silver screen?  (Book of which could be terrifying.)
Since I've never considered the possibility of the aforementioned situations, I do not currently have a plan.  But I can tell you what I will plan to do now that I know this is of utmost importance. How to Survive the End of the World as We Know It: Tactics, Techniques, and Technologies for Uncertain TimesFirst, I will buy a book because I learn everything in life from books.  I think How to Survive the End of the World should work.  I've never read it so I'm not sure it covers zombies but I'm pretty sure it covers what to do in the event that Mel Gibson decides to stalk the big screen..  Next, I will search for a groupon for Bow and Arrow lessons.  I figure it worked for Katniss, it might work for me.  Again, I have little experience with zombies and am unaware of their particular weaknesses.  Thus, I will finish my future preparations by buying a Machete.  Because according to the trends that I see while working in the District Attorney's office, Machetes fix every problem.  That's all I got.  But I will be hopping around to everyone else's page and taking notes.  I'm a very much a planner and I need to get this one right.

Blogger Hop Question of the Week:
“Share your favorite post from the last month and tell us why it’s close to your heart!”

I had two favorite posts for the month of May.  The first is my review of Exposure by Therese Fowler.  It was my favorite because it was my first "awesome" review in a while and it really made me think.  My favorite non-review post, is my post titled "What Are Non-Bloggers Reading."  I really had a fun time peaking over my book in B&N, waiting for people to go to the bathroom to quickly grab their book and write down the title, and step out of the bubble that is the book blogging community.  It was fun to see what people were reading and they really surprised me.
