Dewey's 24 Hour Read-a-thon: This challenge occurs every April and October.

Armchair BEA:  Week long event that Occurs at the same time as BookExpo America.  For those who cannot attend BEA in New York.

Bloggiesta: An event that schedules a Blog Spring-cleaning of sorts over a weekend.  It feels good for things to no longer hang over our heads.  Plus, things are always more fun shared.  During this even there are mini-challenges and twitter chats.

A twitter chat occurs every third Friday/Saturday.
Mini Bloggiesta occurs in July
Main Bloggiesta occurs in September.

Black History Month Hop:  Occurs for the whole month of February.  A Month long (at times) hop that spotlights people of color in the literary world.

There was a giveaway hops and themed weeks on eclectic genres, romance, around town events, and more.
