Update Blog binder
1. I used tweetchat.com for the very first time and that was super cool. I'm glad that I discovered it and plan to use it for Dewey's readathon in April.
2. So many wonderful people stopped in and gave me their links to blog binders and business cards, giving me ideas and things to think about for both.
3. Blog binder!! This was a popular comment in the blog. I'm going to create a post and include pictures of my blog binder in a future post. So stay tuned. I'll share the links from others as well.
4. This list above made me sit down and think about where my blog is going and what is bogging me down. It took a weight off just making this list. I've been so focused on the new layout that I haven't really taken a moment to reflect on where the blog is and how I'll get it to my future vision. Bloggiesta really helped me stop worrying about the big picture and focus on the the small--but substantial if neglected--things that needed to be done.
5. Bloggiesta made me more productive in my personal life as well. I really did so much there as well. I deep conditioned my hair (because that is so important)... Did our taxes (well I sent it to my Dad so he could do it)... Did some work on my boss's website... I cooked for the week and had fun doing it... Let's see... I made....
-Apple pie oatmeal muffins
-Chicken salad
-Asian chicken soup
-Chicken and shrimp fried rice
-Chicken and Mushroom casserole
-General Tso's chicken with brown rice
-Homemade Strawberry Poppyseed salad dressing
-Roasted a vegetable medley of Mushrooms, onions, red peppers, and broccoli
This had to be my most productive weekend in a long time.
*Done after the completion of Bloggiesta
Please feel free to share your thoughts on my list. Especially *wink*wink* the business cards idea.
Oh my gosh---you were busy! I love that you got so much accomplished outside the blog. I got laundry done, trader joe's shopping done, and ran a 5k. Which all sounds impressive but the laundry still is not hung up and well Trader Joe's was partly for food and mostly for chocolate LOL
ReplyDeleteBut you ran a 5k... you win!
DeleteHolly Molly Woman! You totally did a real deal Bloggiesta weekend. Congrats! I guess you will be doing the next one too! LOL! Congrats!! I should have added my personal list of stuff I did as well. But that was so small. Yummy! Muffins! God that sounds so good right now! :)
