Retiring Why I Love Wednesdays

Reflections of a Bookaholic

Out with old, in with the new right?!  I've pretty much exhausted my love of things and its been fun.  I've had tons of laughs, enjoyed the comments, and appreciated those who participated.  But for now, I'm moving on.  I'm not quite sure what will be in its place but when I figure it out, I'll let you know.  Hopefully many of you will join in!

Which was your favorite Why I Love Wednesday topic?
What type of memes do you like to participate in?

  1. What??? Retiring? Its not even that old!
I actually enjoyed reading that one. Most memes I don't really care for. I think they are just an excuse to post something when you have nothing else to say.
I don't read most of them, and I don't really participate in any of them.
There is one I like where is asks questions... Ahh found them (there are 2) "Feature & Follow" and " Book Blogger Hop" both ask questions and they are fun to read the answers of different people.
I think that's why I liked "Why I love... Wednesdays" it was a different question every week.

OK I've rambled and taken up enough space for a while! :-)

    1. Lol. It's old for book blogging years right? Whatever comes next will be a discussion type post. No worries. I'm a reflective type person.

    1. Memes are great when you have time for them. Hopefully I'll come up with something that is just as fun to read.

  4. Oh I'm sorry to see it go too but I understand. At the point I almost feel like I'm part of too many weeklies too. It's hard to keep coming up with questions so I don't envy you having to come up with so many. you did a great job with this. I will miss this feature as I found it interesting :) I didn't participate much lately but I've been super busy with holidays and my Tuesday ones were pre-made so I did have time with them.

I will keep checking out your book home regularly, you're one of my favorite bloggers :)

    1. Oh I completely understand. It was fun, but I was just getting bored with it. I figured it I was bored then everyone else must be too. I'll think of something else though.

  8. I know that running a meme can be exhausting. So cool that you did it!

Right now I'm mostly posting in Top Off Tuesdays and Throwback Thursdays when I can. Those are fun.

  9. It was a fun meme, but yeah, I can see how you might want a break. I always loved the ones you did about children's books and characters! Those were my favourite :)
