And how many have you read? How many do you remember?

I've read 8 and remember 6 vividly.

  1. What an awesome list. I'm exploring all of these again with my kiddo.

I do however have one confession: I'm a Giving Tree hater. LOL. True! I want to call him the Selfish Little Boy Who Took Advantage of the Sweet Giving Tree.

Sorry. That book gets me worked up every time.

It really is an awesome list.

    1. Haha. I know what you are saying though. I've always wondered about the message in that one.

  6. I remember most of these but my mind blurs on whether it is because I loved them or my boys loved them. There was this owl book that featured three baby owls. It mesmerized my younger son to no end and we read it over and over again. I wish I could remember the title of that one. Also, tub people book about a family of little plastic people that live in the tub - we would check that one out of the library almost every week for a long time. Ah, the memories.

  9. I remember reading 'Love You Forever' with my Mom so many times. It's actually quite depressing, although definitely beautiful as well.

  10. I LOVE The Giving Tree and Green Eggs and Ham. When I worked at a pre-school, I read Dr. Seuss books all the time. I had fun doing funny voices while reading Green Eggs and Ham. When I was little, my parents met Dr. Seuss and had him autograph a book. I still have it!
