Why I Love Wednesdays... Favorite Villain

Reflections of a Bookaholic

I am returning with my feature... Why I love which takes place on Wednesdays. Today's proclamation of love concerns our Favorite Villains

Why I Love...Klaus (Niklaus Mikaelson)

Here I go again choosing a character from a book I haven't read :)

No but really.  A tv show based from books totally count.  I've started watching the new season of Vampire Diaries and I've fallen in love again.  How did I go without this show?!  Anyways...I love Klaus as a villain.  Even though he has soft moments every blue moon, Klaus is a real villain.  I don't want to ruin it for you in case you are behind and need to watch it on netflix and catch up (*looking at Jade*).  Klaus shows up in season 2 and boy is he a formidable foe.  He can't be killed, he used to travel around with his family members in caskets, and he is such a manipulator.  Oh and kills tons of people without blinking, even those who supported him once upon a time.  You think he can't be all that bad and then he reminds you that he's pretty bad.  I absolutely love this series and I can't wait to see what Klaus does next!

Which villains do you love? Feel free to create your own post and link up.  Don't want to create an entire post?  Tell me your favorites in the comments.  Thanks for stopping by for another week of Why I Love Wednesdays!!

  1. I haven't read these books either, but LOVE the show. Klaus is a villain totally worth mentioning, he's completely heartless! I don't have a favorite villain from any books, but if I could pick from TV, I could come up with a few. :-)

    1. You should check it out. If you start from the beginning, give it a few episodes. You'll be hooked for sure.

  5. LOL, I do need to catch up. I actually just bought two of these books. I need to dig out the first one so I can start the series. And, I think someone will probably get me Netflix for Christmas, so I'll be able to watch and catch up on the series in a couple months!

    1. I haven't heard great things about the books. Just ditch the books and start with netflix. I'm so completely biased :)

  6. TOTALLY counts plus I read the first two and the books suck. None of the characters are likable. Lots of people love them all so maybe I was just enamoured with the TV show :)

    1. I'm not Team Klaus but I need a shirt anyway. I love shirts like this because I'm always surprised to find people who recognize and start up a conversation.
