I'm back...Kind of...

Hi all!

I'm so excited to let everyone know that I am going to be more present now.  I'm sooo excited.  I felt bad visiting you guys so sporadically and being so late on responses.  You guys may not have noticed the absence of my stalkish behavior but I really missed it.  I just finished one of the BIGGEST finals of my law school career and I'm happy to say that I survived another day (though I am not going to check that grade...ever) and I'm returning to the real world.

Well kind of...

My family has been seriously neglected and my husband has been afraid to speak to me for a month now (I can be kind of snappy during finals...ooopssey!).  I'm looking forward to returning to the community, getting more than 3 hours of sleep, and READING SOME BOOKS!  One more final to go!

Doing my happy dance :)

Now I have to figure out how to go to bed at a decent time.  AND I hear Christmas is around the corner.  What is everyone giving their loved ones for Christmas?

  1. Hey we were on the boat! I hope your finals went well, just think, one day this will all pay off!

Oh and maybe take the husband out to dinner, let him know it's okay to breath again.

  2. Awww, you'll recharge your batteries after some down time and relaxation *hugs* You know I read somewhere that when you're feeling like you've given something your all and you just can't muster any ounce more of energy, you've actually given it like 40% of how much you actually can. So there's this big chunk of "I sure can" that you're gonna tap into provided the right stimulus.
You're feeling that way probably because after the adrenaline high you're exhausted. But never worry, next time you need to accomplish something, the adrenaline high is gonna come in charging and you'll be up and running on full force before you know it. There's little we can't do if we're motivated enough, and you'll get motivated when the need arises; you're an intelligent, strong, accomplished, successful woman, nothing will stand in your way when you have a target to reach :) It's just that right now the target is to lay low and recharge xDDD You will excel at it, as you do at everything else ;) Am I a good motivational speaker? lol. Good motivation comes from always meaning what you say :D

See, I'm clueless about Xmas. It works to my advantage though; I generally end up getting the wackiest weirdest presents for family and friends, and they always take it like this deep, philosophical point I'm making or this really sneaky message I'm sending them in not so many words, haha. The key to good presents isn't trying to please the one you're giving it to, it's to go by what you feel in your heart of hearts and go with that inspiration that will hit at a random moment. I mean the point of a gift is the surprise and wonder of it, not the object itself; for utilitarian object we've got regular shopping, right? Right. That's what I tell myself at least, lol. It also helps if people take you for the "bohemian" type, they'll give all kinds of absconded meanings to something almost plain, haha.

  4. I'm really at a loss for Christmas. It seems like everyone else is giving my loved ones the gifts I wanted to give :(

I am happy about finals. The hardest part is I have zero motivation. I'm burnt out and I don't care. That's so bad.

  5. I barely made it through. I'm still thinking about it. But I'm leaning toward a yes.

  7. My hubby loves movies too. That's a great idea. I have absolutely no idea what is in theater besides Twilight :) Ha! I'll have to do my research.

  9. This is my last year of Law School YIPPPEEE! For us it is a lot of pressure because there is only one test for the whole semester. There are no other grades. I always say I will start studying early but it never feels like I start early enough.

Congrats on getting through that final and surviving! No worries on not being around. I've been a horrible visitor lately. Lol. Ahhhhh Christmas - I'm still finding it hard to believe it's already December. I'm getting books for my parents and knitting my mom some dishcloths. My dad is impossible to buy for so the jury is still out on that one.

  14. Yeeey!! It's such a liberating moment when you'r done with one of the big bad scary finals, isn't it? I sort of miss it, though I don't miss having to take finals at all, lol. I was in zombie mode when I was studying for them, lol.
I'm very glad you're free again to enjoy the glamorous world of the booksih, and it'll give us more chance to enjoy your lovely presence too. Win~win xDDD

For Christmas I'll stick to cards and hand made things this year, no budget for anything else, lol. If only I hadn't been so greedy over the year...*sigh*

  16. Finals are over! Yay! Well, for you they are. I still have a week to go, but I'll survive. :)

Books and DVDs are my standard gifts every year. They're simple, but they're usually winners.

  17. Congratulations! You must feel so relieved and happy. You should do something fun with your husband to celebrate and to make him forget your cranky self of the past weeks ;-)

  18. Congratulations on finishing the finals! That's awesome. And I can definitely understand the snappiness!

As for Christmas, haha. I have no clue! I'm giving the bf 8 movie tickets to share with me, since he loves going to the movies and wants me to do non-related book or blogging things, lol. The rest have forbidden me to give books again (why do people dislike reading? *sigh), so now I'll have to think of something else awesome.

I'm freaking out just reading, oh, the memories. WHOA!!! I recall my nephew going for his CPA. he would stay in his room for so long, when he did step out, i almost threw him out the house. i did not recognize him and the toddler kept screaming each time he went by. The guy looked like a cave man.
