My Review:
This is the story of both Connor Creed and Tricia McCall. Connor and his twin brother Brody inherit their father's ranch, but Connor stays and tends the ranch and Brody goes off to rodeo, creating resentment between the two. After her father's death,Tricia McCall has moved from Seattle in an effort to sell her father's land.
This book had a very homey feel to it. It made me smile and I enjoyed the ability to just settle in for a feel good read. This is book two of the series and you don't have to read the first to enjoy this one. I think the description of the book is a tad misleading because it suggests that this book is all about Connor, with Tricia as a secondary character. It's really the other way around. You get to know Tricia much better than Connor. I'm assuming this is because you will see him a lot in subsequent books. Also, the pacing in this book is a bit "off." It's slow for most of the book and then everything is resolved quickly in the end. This happens a lot in romance novels so I tried not to be too offended. All in all, this is a feel good book with great characters. There is a character for everyone to connection with, but there aren't too many characters that it becomes confusing or irritating.
