From Goodreads:
Where there's smoke there's fire, and no one knows this better than New Jersey bounty hunter, Stephanie Plum. The bail bonds office has burned to the ground, and bodies are turning up in the empty construction lot. To make matters worse, Stephanie is working out of a motor home she shares with a dancing bear, and Joe Morelli's old world grandmother has declared a vendetta against her. And just when Stephanie decides it might be time to choose between the two men in her life, Morelli and Ranger, a third man from Stephanie's past moves back to Trenton...

My Review:
Stephanie is back for yet another adventure! In this story some is dumping bodies at the Bonds empty lot which is bad for business. Stephanie, as usual, must pick up skips who managed to allude her in all their quirkiness. Also, Stephanie's mother is finally fed up with her single status and attempts to remedy the situation.
I LOVE Stephanie Plum and enjoyed the newest edition. I laughed out loud and bookmarked a number of funny tidbits to come back to, each funnier than the last. Although this one hit the spot, I will admit there were situations I was certainly not pleased with. I also continue to bemoan the lack of progress in Stephanies life. Let's make some decisions shall we? Finally, I think Janet Evanovich should write a cookbook to accompany this series. I want to try my hand at homemade scalloped potatoes (I use the box). If Stephanie can almost make them by herself, so can I.
One of my favorites:
"Guess we'll have to find some other way to occupy our time." He wrangled me otu of my shirt and bra. He moved on to my jeans, go them to my knees and stopped. "What the hell?"
I followed his eyes to my granny panties.
"It's complicated," I said.
"Cupcake, complicated is your middle name." He tugged my jeans entirely off and went for the granny panties. "It's a good thing I'm Italian with a strong sex drive. A normal man would walk away from this."
